Sponsorship

To assist agricultural producers build anaerobic digestion systems, ARDCorp is proposing to develop and launch a Cow Power Program. Under this program, B.C.’s electricity consumers will have the option to buy their electricity from on-farm anaerobic digestion systems by paying a premium on their electricity bill. This premium will pass back to the owner of the anaerobic digestion systems, making the technology more financially attractive.

Successful examples of this type of program already exist in North America. These examples include CVPS Cow Power in Vermont, USA, and Bullfrog Power in Canada.

By providing a one-off sponsorship payment, your company will be associated with a highly visible, provincial-wide, environmentally friendly agricultural program that will run indefinitely. Furthermore, all those interested in this program or looking to build an anaerobic digestion system will be aware of your businesses involvement with the program and what you have to offer.
